1. About us

This store is operated by Roamhound ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order or using this website you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Orders

All orders are subject to acceptance and stock availability. We may decline or cancel an order at any time before dispatch, and if we do we will refund you in full.

Once you place an order you will receive an order confirmation email. This confirms we have received your order; it does not guarantee acceptance.

3. Pricing

All prices are shown in South African Rand and include VAT where applicable. Shipping is calculated at checkout.

We take reasonable care to price products correctly. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price due to an error, we will contact you before dispatch and you may either confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.

4. Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider on a secure encrypted connection. We do not see or store your card details.

5. Delivery

6. Returns and refunds

Please see our Returns and Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

7. Product descriptions and images

We take care to describe our products accurately. Product images are for illustration and colours may vary slightly depending on your screen. Measurements are approximate.

8. Correct use of products

Our products are pet accessories, not certified safety equipment. Pet car restraints reduce movement and distraction; they are not crash-tested safety devices and do not guarantee your pet's safety in an accident. Always attach a restraint to a body harness and never to a collar. Supervise your pet when using any of our products.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for the goods in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including under the Consumer Protection Act.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text and the Roamhound name, is our property or used with permission, and may not be reproduced without our written consent.

11. Your account

If you create an account you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
